# How to use ScanDoc

Scandoc is simple, fast and reliable. You will never need a separate scanning equipment ever again, all you will need is a phone, computer or tablet device to scan your documents and save them for future needs. \
Scandoc wants to make your life easy, that's why it has a built in ability to type in text, sign documents and rearrange the order of the files.

Whether you are using a [computer](/scandoc/how-to-use-scandoc/how-to-sign-a-document-using-scandoc-and-personalise-it-to-your-needs.md), [phone](/scandoc/how-to-use-scandoc/untitled.md) or tablet the steps are all the same: \
\
1\. Upload the document from your files in your devise, or use the camera to physically scan the document into Scandoc.

2\. Crop the document to your desired parameters

3\. Adjust the brightness level using the slider bar to make the document crystal clear. Rotate it if needed.

4\. This is where the fun begins! Start personalising your document, by adding a signature, fill any text that's missing and all their colours and font sizes.

5\. Then, simply download the file as an image or PDF format. It will be saved to your files.
