How to scan a document with your phone using ScanDoc

Scandoc does not only have to be accessed on desktop or laptop devices, but you can also use this on the go with your mobile devices, too! All you need is a web browser, and you are ready to scan. Here is how to do it:

  1. Select your web browser and search for https://scandoc.io/

  2. Click on the “Upload” button and choose the file you would like to convert into a scanned document. After selecting “upload” you can find your file by searching for it in the search menu, or you can select the location you saved your file in, for example “files” and select the desire files by clicking on them. Select the “Scan” button to take a picture of the physical document in front of you that you would like to scan.

  3. Resize to the parameters that you would like the document to be scanned. Use the magnifying glass and cross to aid you through this process by aligning the cross with the document edges.

  4. Click on the green arrow on the top left corner to proceed to editing your document.

  5. Rotate the document left or right with the help of the arrows and adjust the brightness to your desired level. There will be a slider to aid you in choose your perfect brightness level.

  6. Click the “A” button to add a text or signature. To add text click "Text". Then Type in the text anywhere you want on the document.

  7. Resize the text by clicking in the “A↑”. Use the slider bar to get to your desired font size.

  8. Press the black square to change the colour of the text.

  9. Add a signature by selecting the "A" button and then "Add Signature". You will be able to either draw your signature inside the designated box, or type your signature in by using the keyboard on your phone. After you have typed in the signature, press "Save". Press anywhere on the document for the signature to appear. Press and drag it to the desired location.

  10. To add a new signature, simply select the signature that is being used and click "New signature".

  12. Lastly, download the document with the editing you have done and save it as an image or PDF file.
