# How to scan a document on desktop computers or laptops using Scandoc

Scandoc is an incredible tool, because it can be used on multiple devices, this includes desktop computers, as well as laptops. As long as you have a WIFI connection you will be able to do this anywhere at any time that is convenient to you. It is fast, so even if you are rushed for time, Scandoc can get the job done swiftly. Here is how to do it:

1. Select your web browser and search for <https://scandoc.io/> &#x20;

2\. Click on the “upload” or “scan” button and chose the file you would like to convert into a scanned document. After selecting “upload” you can find your file by searching for it in the search menu, or you can select the location you saved your file in, for example “desktop” and select the desire files by clicking on them. Then select “open”.

3\. Use the circles to resize the parameters of the document that you would like to scan. Use the magnifying glass and cross to aid you through this process by aligning the cross with the document edges.

4\. Click on the green arrow on the top left corner to proceed to editing your document.

5\. Rotate the document left or right with the help of the arrows and adjust the brightness to your desired level. There will be a slider to aid you in choose your perfect brightness level.\

6\. Lastly, download the document with the edits you have done and save it as an image or PDF file.
